Counselling in Epsom and Ewell
About me

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor based in Epsom, Surrey, and have worked successfully with clients presenting with difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, loss and bereavement, low self-esteem, stress, feeling stuck, work and relationship difficulties or a lack of direction in life.
I hold a Certificate in Counselling, a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, I am a qualified Rewind Practitioner, and I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have worked with clients at the Awareness Centre, NHS and with the New Malden Counselling Associates. As a BACP member I am committed to working ethically and to high professional standards.
How I work

I support clients as you work through your difficulties, by helping you explore and understand what is troubling you, finding ways of removing blockages that prevent you from leading more fulfilling or meaningful lives.
Our work can be short or long-term, depending on the nature of the difficulties and what you would like to gain from therapy.
I see clients face to face in my counselling room at my home with a private, separate entrance and parking facilities. The facilities are Covid safe and sanitised between clients in line with government guidelines.
Counselling for you

I offer clients a compassionate and non-judgemental environment, to help you feel at ease. As an integrative counsellor I can draw on theory and techniques from various therapeutic modalities. This means I can tailor therapy to the individual needs of my clients.
Everyone is unique and some clients may benefit from a more solution-focussed approach while others might need to explore and work through deep-rooted issues and past traumas to move forward.
I believe in the connection of body and mind and can integrate tools like mindfulness or relaxation techniques into the therapy if desired by the client.
Fees
Sessions are 50 minutes and charged currently at £50, with concessions available in certain circumstances.
The first session allows you to establish that you are comfortable and I will not ask you to commit to future sessions, leaving you to decide whether you wish to continue.
Counselling is more successful when sessions are arranged weekly.
Registered MBACP member
I am a qualified member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
